SCTV

Some of the greatest art ever to be expressed in the 20th Century, and it was just a sketch comedy show with a miniscule budget starring a cast of then-unknown Canadians. I put it up there with the music of Duke Ellington or the Clash, the films of Robert Altman, the stand-up of Richard Pryor
or the paintings of Picasso. Any good sketch show to have followed it, be it the Kids In the Hall, Mr. Show or the Upright Citizens Brigade is a direct descendant of SCTV.
